Simplicity, conciseness and accuracy is the plain motto of the game. The objective is to build a robot which covers the entire track against the obstruction of the hillock and the bumpers. The machine which does it in the shortest minimum time wears the hat of the winner.

Objective
The Objective of the game is to build an original machine to cover the entire stretch of the laid out track and BACK in the shortest time possible with maximum speed.

Robot Specifications
1.    The dimension of the machine should not exceed 09x09x09 (length x breadth x height) inches.
2.    The body of the machine should be original. Use of Lego & Mechanix parts is not permitted.
3.    The machine will be scrutinized before the race and any machine found being made use of these parts will be disqualified & will not be given a chance to run the race. The decision of the organizers will be final in this respect.
4.    The machine may use control devices outside itself, connected by cord or cordless. Care should be taken that if the machine is connected by cord; the length of the cord is long enough to complete the race with ease.
5.    The machine may use onboard power or supply via cables (230V standard supply will be available). Participants should carry their own DC supplies, which could be in the form of adaptors (AC to DC). Participants should bring their own extension cables etc. Only electrical source of energy is allowed via cables.
6.    Each machine must be designated a name that is to be registered. This name should be displayed prominently on the machine. Register early for your preference name.

Rules
1.    Teams comprising of maximum 4 students can take part in the event
2.    Each machine will start from the START line, cover the length of the track (including the 'Hillock'), reach the other end and come back to the start line
3.    Every run of a machine will be preceded by a check by the organizers to ensure that the machine is genuine, safe and conforms to the rules set. The organizer's decision will be final in all respect.
4.    Any machine will be disqualified if:
·    Not agreeing to the specifications mentioned above
·    The control cords, power cords, etc... become taut at any point of time, during the race.
5.    If a machine breaks down OR the machine goes off the track fully or partially before crossing the FINISH line, no credit will be awarded for that run.
6.    In the Final Round in case both the cars go off the track than the car covering most distance will proceed to the next round.
7.    In case of the cordless devices, the organizers will not be responsible for failure due to interference. The participants are expected to take the necessary precautions.
8.    No member of the participating teams will be allowed to touch any machine when it is on its run. If it breaks down, they must first report to the organizer present before touching/removing the machine.
9.    No part of the track may be modified by any participating team. If any team is found doing so, they will be disqualified.
10.    The winners & all the above-mentioned cases will be decided by the organizers and their decision will be final in this regard.
11.    All actions of the organizers will be in the interest of Fair Play and true spirit of the game.
12.    No part of the robot should be detached from the body nor should damage the track in any way. The robot will be disqualified.
13.    The organizer's decision will be final. The organizers reserve the rights to disallow any participant(s) from competing, at any point of time, if, in their view any of the rules have not been conformed to or foul play has been involved. Please note that any further argument in this regard will NOT be entertained.
14.    The ISAAC Committee will not be responsible for any damage to the robot caused during the course of the game
Eliminations
The teams will be allotted Five minutes strictly. They can conduct as many trials within 5 minutes only. The criterion for eliminatinion is to complete the track and back within 180 seconds in any one of the trials without any intervention during the race. The team completing the eliminating will proceed to the knock out round.

Tips & Tricks
Ø    Imagine every part of the track with reference to the machine that you are going to build. We've given you the dimensions ... use them........ !!
Ø    The Details of the Practice session will be displayed on the website.
Also you are welcome to contact us for any necessary clarifications regarding the contest.
More details will be put up very soon on the website.
Please keep checking the site at regular intervals.
Ø    Modifications and changes if any in the format, layout etc will be updated on our website. We request the teams to keep track of them.
